I know I've been missed just a pic to prove I'm still ALIVE!!

I love my family. This is my first time meeting April and Naenae. (hope I spelled Naenae's name correct) Arent they beautiful? Who wouldnt want to be part of this family?

We are still on the road. We were in no hurry so we were still on the road looking out the sun roof at the moon. We make it to Sacramento not soon after this moment.

This sign really cracked me up. Really anybody have $5 on it.....We can grab a sack....LOL

CA....not exactly sure where we were at this point it was after Yreka on our way to Sacremento

We stopped at the Texaco to get gas, snacks and most importantly alcohol to continue our trip. Yreka, CA

Day 6 - Updates from Pam

12/31 We are in Sacramento. We took our time getting here. We stopped in Oregon and Yreka, CA you know Shelia took 5,000 pics. I am surprised she hasnt posted any yet. hahaha The landscape from Seattle to Sacramento is absolutely beautiful. The way the mountains extend above the clouds and meet the sun is amazing to me. We were truly blessed with good weather. Other than some snow early in the morning going through Oregon the roads were clear and traffic has been minimal.

We stayed at our Cousin Marc's house last night and plan on bringing in the New Years in Sacramento. Hope you enjoyed some of my favorite pics.

The Journey Now begins......on the road to CA

Yesterday, we got Pam all packed up, which was very challenging. But, we made it through successfully!!!!! We treated ourselves to pedicures and got well rested after.

We are now on the road to Sacramento, CA.

Duct tape Derek, Pam's neighbor who offered to help pack the pod and tape us up with duct tape!!!! I gotta stop watching 48 hours, he scared the crap outta me at first, he just kept mentioning freakin duct tape......After showing him the shot of Nic on the toilet we were sure he wouldn't duct tape at least her azz anyway. hahahahaha!!!

We did our thang picking and packing, my back hurts my feet hurt and Nic AZZ wants to go shopping for Bath and Body Works she thinks she going to get her favorite fragrance on the $3 hook up!!

And I mean this literally, It's around 2pm and I'm understanding the whole over worked under paid phrase!!!

THANK YOU PAM! WE went shopping in her goodwill give away room. Ok I am feeling much better about packin now!~

Ok, my flight departure time said 7:30am from Charlotte with an arrival time of 10:45am in San Francisco. 3 hours and 45 minutes right? Heck No!!!! For some strange reason, I never looked at the part that stated the length of the flight was 5 hours and 45 minutes. And I had to get on another plane after that.....!!!  OMG, you could have brought me for a penny when I found that out.

And Shelia didn't make it any better by telling me to look out the window as I was in my own little world pretending that I was in a car. As you see, I made a big scarfice to catch a plane out here, Thank God I'm driving back!!! Can't wait for the adventures to begin....oh they already have.

Day 1 Pam 12/26/2009

Knicki and Shelia leave North Carolina at 7:50 am EDT and arrive safely in Seattle at 3:05 PDT. We take a brief look around downtown Seattle (it will be dark in an hour), we head out South Lake Union to Freemont to get something to eat. We stop at the Lenin statue to take a picture. Very nice gentleman offers to take our picture. We just kow this should be good he has one of those real cameras hanging around his neck. He takes time to step up and back to make sure he gets the entire statue in the picture and cant figure out how to press the button to get the camera to work. I walk down show him and he still has problems by the time he gets the picture it is blurry and unusable. Special shout out to the man who tried to take a picture for us.
